Mission and Vision

Sustainability is at the heart of our foundation and we are on a mission to help our ecosystem reduce food waste. We served food for homeless people for a NGO- Straatmensen in Nijmegen. On hard winter nights, he saw barefoot people, and saw how warm food makes a difference in people. Straatmensen used to receive food from nearby shops which was about to go expire and even after distributing food by our NGO, there was still food waste.

Globally, about 30% of food goes waste. In the age of AI and Machine Learning it is a crime to let that happen while people in certain part of the society have hunger crisis. Through PlanWise we want to contribute towards reduction of food waste. Any improvement in forecast accuracy for food producer will help us get closer to reduce that waste.
